How companies can apply

E2 is designed to assist those companies capable of taking a strategic approach to export development. Companies that can apply for E2 are:

First-time exporters;
Relatively new exporters;
Established exporters that may be focusing on a new product, new export market or looking to develop their export competencies.

Any employer can apply for the E2 programme provided the following criteria are met:

Essential Criteria
Product/Range suitable (or adaptable without excessive cost) for export; Clear strategic/commercial reasons for developing export business; Senior management commitment to developing export business and resources for the development and implementation of export marketing plans; Financial stability; Management resources available to support the graduate and develop export business

Desirable Criteria
Considering specific target markets, with sound rationale; If considering international exporting, previous trade history in RoI or GB.

E2 has intakes with training start dates in November 2008, January 2009 and May 2009.

Companies applying for E2 are eligible for any of these start dates.
